This operation will allow the counterparty to provide subsidies to some families, so in the loan preparation phase a socio-economic evaluation of the population was carried out. The evaluation already included the gender approach identifying households with female headships from which the team decided to set the goal of 50% of subsidies for women with female heads. This is innovative in loans with water subisids and will allow measuring the impact on this population segment that has lower economic conditions. The evaluation also identified that women have 20% less income than men.
