• Carry out campaigns to raise awareness about road safety, promoting safe practices and attitudes among male and female users of the infrastructure, especially those making use of a private car. In some cases, the accident rate is higher for men than for women due to the fact that usually men use more private cars, they travel for longer distances and are more likely to adopt risky behaviors. In this case, campaigns on road safety should adopt different approaches for men and women. Include public campaigns in schools.
