The Urban Transport Development Investment project in Mongolia included:
- that the design of the infrastructure be adapted to gender-differentiated demands with waiting rooms and areas reserved for women, seats reserved for pregnant women, street lighting at the stops, separate bathrooms;
- a quota of 30% of women hired by the municipal company of the BRT to carry out work generated by the project (female drivers, employees at the stations, supervisors, etc.).
