Mumbai Urban Transport en India

In the Mumbai Urban Transport project in India, for the resettlement process, there was the support of 2 civil society organizations, one of women.
- The organizations were in charge of carrying out socio-economic surveys for the definition of baselines and, above all, grouping households and carrying out resettlement in a group way, allowing to take care of community and inter-household relations, in which women play an essential role. The resettlement plan managed to ensure continuity of the activities and relationships (not only economic) that women previously performed;
- The allocation of joint titles to married couples was included, opening the possibility for women to access the formal banking system.
