The PELNICA project in Nicaragua included:
- Gender awareness to mixed groups with the objective that men and women recognize the contribution that women make to the economy, through unpaid domestic work;
- Training for women who are interested in activities considered male (linemen (operators), women making bricks, welders, electricians, etc.). Training in business plan development;
- Establishment of clauses that establish in Boards of Directors, the inclusion of at least 40% of women in relevant positions;
